Denise Davis, COE, CMPE, Chief Operating Officer Denise has more than 25 years of experience in the ophthalmic industry and has been the Administrator at The Eye Clinic since 1995. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky , Denise earned a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. Denise is a Certified Ophthalmology Executive and a Certified Medical Practice Executive. Denise is currently serving as the President of the Ophthalmology Assembly of MGMA (Medical Group Management Association) and has been a member of this national group for over 20 years. Angie Soileau, Human Resources Manager/Bookkeeper A native of Lake Charles, Angie has been with The Eye Clinic for nearly 10 years. She is a Certified Bookkeeper and has more than 18 years of experience in the financial field. Angie is a member of ASOA (American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators), MGMA (Medical Group Management Association) and SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management). At The Eye Clinic, her management responsibilities include: Employee payroll and benefits Accounts payable Bookkeeping Office staff supervision Satellite offices Lori Whited, LPN, COT, Nursing Coordinator A graduate of Garnet School of Nursing in Charleston, West Virginia, Lori's first nursing position was in the field of oncology at a hospital in South Charleston, West Virginia. After moving to Lake Charles in 1980, she worked in obstetrics and gynecology before joining The Eye Clinic in 1985. Lori is a Certified Ophthalmic Technician and was the head nurse for one of our surgeons for 15 years before accepting the position of nurse manager of the medical/surgical department in 2000. With the help of 33 of our 88 total employees, Lori is responsible for the smooth running of the medical/surgical departments at The Eye Clinic. Her management responsibilities include: Clinical Staff Clinical and Surgical Departments Contact Lens Department Staff education OSHA officer Employee health Mandy Craft, COA, Diagnostic Supervisor Originally from Sulphur, Mandy has been with The Eye Clinic for over 15 years, working and training in a variety of clinical positions. She is a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant and is currently the Diagnostic Supervisor. Mandy's responsibilities include: Providing diagnostic tests as ordered, including A-Scan, HRT, and Topography Diagnostic staff supervision Maintenance of diagnostic equipment and supplies Angela Robinson, Accounts Receivable Supervisor Angela has been with The Eye Clinic for nine years and has more than 11 years of experience in the medical financial field. She is originally from Lake Charles and attended McNeese State University. She has also completed numerous continuing education courses relating to insurance, Medicare and Medicaid. Her responsibilities include: Insurance filing Billing Pre-certification Billing inquiries/payment arrangements Collections
