The look of love

…is in your eyes! Eye contact is considered important when addressing the one you love, but did you know that according to several studies, our pupils dilate, or get bigger, when we look at someone we love? This is just one of the reasons that pupils can dilate outside of your eye doctor’s office.

Speaking of hearts and Valentine’s Day, February is National Heart Month. It may not seem possible, but your eye doctor can see signs of heart problems in your eyes! It is always a good idea to have a full eye exam, and even more so if you have any heart conditions.
